Noida Apke Dwaaar

Dated: 07.12.2021
Noida authority officers lead by The General Manager, Mr. P. K. Kaushik, Sector-6, visited Sector-40 Noida on 07.12.2021 under the initiative of “Noida Aapke Dwar” to listen to the problems and for their quick redressal. All officers of concerning departments were present in this forum.
The august dais was shared by RWA Sector-40 President Mr. A. K. Sehgal, General Secretary, Mr. Rajnish Kumar Sharma & the past President Mr. Ashok Sharma.
At the outset president Mr. A. K. Sehgal appreciated Noida authority officers for rendering their continuous support whenever day to day problems have been raised by RWA and have been attended to very efficiently. Especially he appreciated Mr. Manoj Sharma-JE circle iii and Mr. Virender Singh JE-Jal for attending and redressing problems at any given time.
Mr. Sehgal however, informed that we have a problem with the system that there is no coordination of the departments. He said, basic infrastructure is crumpling since the sector is almost 40 years old. Present infrastructure e.g. sewer lines, water lines, drainage system, loosely hanging electrical lines & rusted/broken poles etc. are needed to be upgraded urgently.
Dadri drain is uncovered and emits continuous foul smell for several years needs to be covered. Many broken culverts, footpath tiles, z-entry to parks, park boundary walls, and dust bins need immediate repairs & replacements.
Mr. Sehgal further reiterated that we need immediate renovation and expansion of the community centre, laying of new sewage & water lines and footpath lights in all the parks. Water logging at various places need water harvesting arrangements.
He added that cleaning of parks, roads and green belt does not happen automatically, need to be chased. Compost pits have become garbage bins spoiling sanctity of the parks. These bins must be closed since RWA does not have manpower and infrastructure to handle making of compost.
RWA wants to know about the authorities’ policy and action for non paying RWA members, maintenance of unattended vacant/semi-built plots, breeding & shelter for dogs and cutting of sick/dangerous/termite affected trees.
We are very grateful for this initiative to listen to us so patiently to provide solution to our problems.
Sector-40, RWA. Noida,

President Mr. A. K. Sehgal welcomed Hon’able Minister Shri Pankaj Singh and presented him a bouquet. Mr. Sehgal appreciated Noida authority officers for rendering their continuous support whenever day to day problems have been raised by RWA and problems are being attended to very efficiently. However, Mr. Sehgal informed that we have a problem with the system that there is no coordination between departments. He requested for 3 major problems to be tackled; 1. Covering of Dadri drain, 2. Dog menace in the sector to be tackled 3. Underground cables to be laid instead of electrical pole conductors. Mr. Sehgal then handed over mike to Mr. Rajnish Sharma, the General Secretary to add something more.
Mr. Rajnish said that our sector is almost 40 years old. We have lived a good life in this sector so far. All Noida officers are giving full support to our needs. We appreciate their intent to help and that is very honest. But now infrastructure is crumpling. Present infrastructure needs to modernised and upgraded since the population has increased, plots are becoming flats; hence putting lot of pressure on the basic infrastructure e.g. sewer lines, water lines, drainage system, electrical systems etc. He then requested the Minister Shri Pankaj Singh ji to address the residents that what will the road map. How shall RWA look forward to and what will be vision of the Minister for our future?
Minister Shri Pankaj Singh very much appreciated Mr. Rajnish’s comment that we at RWA acknowledge Noida Authority officers for the intent of honest working. He informed how much Noida Authority has spent on RWA’s work, how much is work is under progress and how much is under approval. He immediately asked Mr. Kaushik to cook into covering of Dadri drain.
