About Resident Welfare Association
Sector-40, Resident Welfare Association was formally formed and registered in 1993, in accordance with provision of the Societies Registration Act, XXI of 1860. The prime aims & objectives are to foster and to inculcate the feeling of brotherhood and togetherness to bring development, progress, harmony and peace through cultural, social, intellectual, spiritual, sports and health oriented awareness programmes for the residents of the sector. The Executive Committee Members of RWA pledge to help and perform their duties by investing their time voluntarily for protecting the rights and interests of the members; providing safety, security, health and maintenance aspects and doing other day to day activities with best of intentions, wisdom and knowledge though mutual cooperation and communication between RWA & its Members.
RWA takes onus to represent and to liaison with Government departments/bodies, Civic & Law & Order departments for solving its members daily problems for happy and healthy living in the sector. RWA is committed to associate with other RWAs to learn and implement the best practices in the best interest & progress to our residents. RWA promises to protect the environment by utilizing available financial & natural resources with utmost care. RWA tends to facilitate its members for all other aspects even not listed above for them to feel safe and secure in the sector.

Aims & Objectives:
1. To look after the welfare of colony, it’s residents, arrangements of the security, cleanliness and environmental aspects etc.
2. To maintain liaison and to cooperate with other associations having similar objectives, in the development of joint activities and expressions of views on matters concerning the rights of house owners, tenants, occupants, residents & citizens in general.
3. To encourage & foster physical, intellectual, cultural & aesthetic activities amongst the members and their families and to do all such lawful acts as may be incidental or conducive to attainment of any or all the objects mentioned above.
4. To encourage and inculcate, disseminate knowledge by contributing to magazines, journals or books to foster the spirit of brotherhood amongst the members of the society.
